UPDATE: Tide to don commemorative jerseys against Ole Miss

TUSCALOOSA | The UA football team will wear a commemorative jersey in its game against Ole Miss Saturday to honor the 25th anniversary of coach Paul W. Bryant's 315th win and his final Southeastern Conference Championship team from 1981.
The Nike-designed jersey features houndstooth trim on the collar. The jersey change marks the 11th time in Crimson Tide history the team has worn commemorative markings during a game. The other occurrences were:
Bryant became college football's all-time winningest coach with a 28-17 victory over Auburn on Nov. 28, 1981 at Legion Field. The Crimson Tide finished the 1981 season with a 9-2-1 record and the school's 18th SEC title.
The jersey will be on sale Saturday at the Nike tent, located on the northwest corner of Bryant-Denny Stadium. The retail price is $80.
