BIRMINGHAM | Tyler Love, the No. 1 offensive lineman in the state, announced his college decision from Mountain Brook High School at a press conference Friday night.

Love said he would sign a letter of intent with the University of Alabama in February and become a part of the signing class of 2008.

“It was always a dream of mine to run out of the tunnel at Bryant-Denny Stadium," Love said.

The 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive tackle chose Alabama over numerous other scholarship offers, including Georgia, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Oklahoma. Love -- a member of Scout.com’s National Hot 100 -- becomes the Crimson Tide’s 11th commitment.
