UA women fall to Chattanooga, 62-34

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn | The University of Alabama women’s basketball team was unable to hold onto the momentum of its two-game win streak as the Crimson Tide fell to UT-Chattanooga 62-34 on Saturday.
Junior Camilla Blands was the only Tide player to score in double digits, finishing with 12 points and five rebounds.
UT-Chattanooga led 32-14 at the half.
Alex Anderson led the Mocs with 14 points and five rebounds. Jenaya Wade-Fray added 11 points and was 3-for-4 in 3-point attempts.
The Tide managed just five field goals in the first half while surrendering 12 to the Mocs. Alabama shot just 24 percent in field goal attempts, while UT-Chattanooga was 40 percent from the field.
Alabama (3-6) will host Alabama A&M on Monday at 11:30 a.m.
