Alabama women's basketball team falls to Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. | The Alabama women’s basketball team completed its Mississippi road trip with a 76-47 loss to Ole Miss Sunday afternoon in Tad Smith Coliseum.
The Crimson Tide (8-14, 1-6) was a dismal 1-of-10 from the 3-point arc in the first half and 3-of-19 for the game.
The Crimson Tide trailed 33-23 at the half.
Ole Miss had three players in double figures, led by Carla Bartee with 16 points. She also had 10 rebounds. Kayla Melson had 11 points and Shawn Goff had 10.
Freshman Tierney Jenkins was the only Tide player in double figures as she led the Tide with 10 points as Alabama
Ole Miss improves to 9-11 on the season and 3-4 in conference action.
The Tide shot 33 percent from the field, hitting just 16 field goals in 48 attempts. Ole Miss shot 43 percent from the field.
Alabama hosts LSU on Thursday at 6 p.m.
