The Tuscaloosa News has learned that former University of Alabama defensive coordinator Joe Kines has decided to get back into coaching, and will become the defensive coordinator at Texas A&M.
After interviewing in College Station on Tuesday, Kines returned to Tuscaloosa and notified school officials of his decision Wednesday.
Kines primarily served as a fund-raiser for the athletics department last year.
