Tide gymnastics team stays ranked at No. 6

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama gymnastics team held on to its No. 6 spot in the national rankings Monday despite losing two meets over the weekend.
The Crimson Tide fell to No. 7 Stanford and No. 15 Nebraska on Friday in Palo Alto, Calif., and then lost to No. 11 Arkansas on Sunday in a meet at 10th-ranked UCLA, which Alabama beat out for second place in a four-way meet.
Alabama is ranked sixth on floor exercise and vault, eighth on uneven parallel bars and tied for 12th on balance beam.
Individually, UA sophomore Kassi Price is ranked 12th in the all-around, with sophomore Morgan Dennis ranked 18th. Price also is tied for second on bars and 15th on floor with Alabama freshman Kayla Hoffman.
Dennis is ranked seventh on floor. No UA gymnast is ranked on balance beam.
