Tuscaloosa, Ala. - University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban

released the following statement Friday afternoon regarding the health

of freshman linebacker Rolando McClain, who was involved in an accident

Thursday.

"Rolando has been released from the hospital following a motorcycle

accident on Thursday," Saban said. "Our medical staff has checked on him

and he should be OK other than some cuts and abrasions. He'll continue

to be monitored by our staff and our thoughts are with him and his

family during what we hope is a quick and full recovery."
