6-3, 225, TE Gadsden City High School Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia Tech, LSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, UAB What we know: Smith spent time as an offensive linemen and defensive end as a junior. He was named All-State honorable mention as an offensive lineman. He spent time working as a tight end throughout the spring and earned first team all-camp at the Scout.com/Under Armour Southeast Elite camp. Bone says: Smith is a prospect who has unlimited potential. He is benefiting from two five-star players on the same high school team and college coaches are taking notice. He holds a few scholarship offers but is waiting for the SEC schools to step forward for the SEC-caliber player. | |
22. Darrius McMullin
6-2, 275, DTSpain Park High School (Hoover) Not Ranked Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt What we know: McMullin was a standout on the defensive line for the state champion runner-up in 2007. He made 68 tackles, forced two fumbles and made two fumble recoveries as a junior. He received SEC offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt in June. Bone says: McMullin is a solid prospect who could generate offers from Alabama and Auburn after they see a few games his senior season. His biggest assets include strength and pursuit. He will play on the defensive interior on the next level. | |

Brian Jackson5-11, 190, CB Hoover High School Not Ranked Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Central Florida What we know: Super sleeper prospect who came out of the spring with scholarship offers from Oklahoma State, Oregon, Tulane and UCF. Jackson made 51 tackles, four tackles for loss and one interception as a junior. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5-seconds. Bone says: Jackson emerged on the recruiting scene late but is a top target for several schools. He has great coverage skills and is a great tackler. Jackson should start generating major offers from within the SEC. | |

Alvin Hines6-0, 195, S Pelham High School Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Stanford, Central Florida, Vanderbilt What we know: A truly gifted football and baseball player. Hines finished the year with 80 tackles, one interception and four pass break-ups, and was named All-Shelby County. Bone says: Hines is a talented athlete who has great instincts on the field. He is a pure football player and must continue to improve his speed. He received offer No. 1 from Auburn and the Tigers are considered the team to beat for his signature. | |

Mujahid Assad6-1, 186, WR Williamson High School (Mobile) Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Marshall, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Alabama, Southern Miss, UAB What we know: Assad had 33 catches for 517 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior. He has been timed at a 10. 9 in the 100 meters, 22.2 in the 200 meters and 49.8 in the 400 meters. Bone says: Assad has been stellar at two Under Armour/Scout.com camps. He has continued to gain offers and hopes to continue to impress coaches on the summer camp circuit. He has great hands to complement excellent speed and route-running ability. | |

6-3, 180, WR Pickens County High School (Reform) Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Florida What we know: Hood is recruited as a football and basketball player. Hood had 16 receptions for 505 yards with six touchdowns in 2007 and had 39 tackles and four interceptions on defensive despite missing four games to an ankle injury. He was named to The Tuscaloosa News West Alabama All-Star team and honorable mention All-State. Bone says: The best way to describe Hood is athletic. He has great ball skills and knows how to find the end zone. He is a tough match up for defensive backs and holds a verbal offer from Alabama. | |
27. Orwin Smith6-0, 195, RB Central High School (Phenix City) Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, UAB What we know: Smith rushed for 1,278 yards and 12 touchdowns as junior. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5-seconds and is receiving a lot of attention from recruiters. Bone says: Smith is definitely a player to watch as a senior. He has great quickness and speed but needs to start running with authority. He does not list any favorites. | |

Arthur Williams6-2, 171, WR Glenwood School (Smiths Station) Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ohio State, Vanderbilt What we know: Williams had 40 receptions for 620 yards and 10 touchdowns on offense as a junior. He added two interceptions with one returned for a touchdown as a defensive back. Williams earned Under Armour/Scout.com Southeast Elite all-camp honors. Bone says: Williams is a smooth route runner who possesses great hands. He has received several scholarship offers including Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Vanderbilt. He lists favorites as Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt. | |
29. Clint Moseley6-4, 195, QB Leroy High School Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Memphis, Mississippi State, Tennessee, UAB, Central Florida What we know: Moseley helped lead his team to back-to-back state championships in both football and baseball. He threw for 3,259 yards and 26 touchdowns and led the team in rushing with 745 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was named most valuable player of the Class 2A Super Six championship game and Class 2A Back of the Year. Bone says: Moseley is a very humble and gracious individual who only asks for opportunities to compete. He has shined as a player throughout his career and hopes to play for a major BCS program. He can escape from the pocket and is accurate, but needs to improve arm strength. UAB and South Alabama have offered scholarships, but expect a few SEC schools to come calling. | |

5-9, 185, CB Central High School Scout.com 3-star Considering: Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Nebraska What we know: Edwards traveled to three Under Armour/Scout.com combines (Mobile, Auburn and Kansas City) in the spring to gain more exposure and continue to learn from camp coaches. He made 64 total tackles during his junior season for the Falcons’ undefeated state title team, intercepted 15 passes with one touchdown, caused one fumble and recovered a fumble. He also accounted for 24 pass break-ups. He was awarded All-State honors by the ASWA and named to The Tuscaloosa News West Alabama All-Star star.
