TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama football team opened up its first scrimmage of the 2008 fall camp Saturday afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Sophomore wide receiver Darius Hanks, who had been in a black, no-contact jersey for the first eight days of fall camp due to a shoulder injury, was wearing a white jersey.

Junior defensive back Ali Sharrief (concussion) and freshman defensive lineman Marcel Dareus (undisclosed) were also out of the black and into the white.

Junior fullback Baron Huber (concussion) was still in black, but did participate in stretching drills for the first time in two days.

No players or coaches were made available to the media before the scrimmage. Head coach Nick Saban is scheduled to speak afterwards.
