Actor and comedian Tom Arnold, former host of Fox's "Best Damn Sports Show Period", was in attendance at Thursday's Alabama football practice at the Thomas-Drew facility.
Arnold, a stand-up comic most known for his marriage and divorce to Roseanne Barr in the 1990s, was seen roaming the sidelines and conversing with head coach Nick Saban and Mal Moore. Arnold was visiting with his wife and children.
Arnold had a brief stint hosting the "Best Damn Sports Show Period" in 2004, and has appeared in a number of movies during his career, most notably 1994's "True Lies" with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The reason for Arnold's appearance at the Tide's practice is not known at this time.
