TUSCALOOSA | University of Alabama star receiver Julio Jones recently underwent sports hernia surgery, marking the third procedure for the 2008 Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year since his first collegiate season.
Jones underwent procedures in January after the Sugar Bowl to address shoulder and wrist injuries sustained during the season. He took part in spring practice before having the sports hernia surgery.
