Chat transcript part lll (6-24-09)
jcg_basketball12: is mosley a top 3 inside linebacker in the country
Andrew Bone: He is a top 10 inside linebacker.
bamaforlife'72: Our chances or interest in Torrian Wilson?
Andrew Bone: Alabama is in Wilson's top five, but I see him staying at Miami.
bama-is-rolling: What position do see Blake Sims playing at Bama?
Andrew Bone: wide receiver or safety.
Crimson Reign: Where do you think that QB Terrance Broadway ultimately commits?
Andrew Bone: Ole Miss or Miss State.
dswright: How are our SEC West competitors classes looking?
Andrew Bone: LSU has a very good class right now.
Crimson Reign: What is going on with BJ Chitty? I thought he was going to be a rather major prospect in state?
Andrew Bone: He is one of the Top 30 players in the state. He has a lot of out-of-state offers.
jcg_basketball12: what are the chances bama lands brian robinson from st. thomas aquinas
Andrew Bone: I think Alabama will sign two more safeties. Jarrick Williams [committed Friday night] and Keenan Allen.
Crimson Reign: What is Alabama going to do about the center position for the future? I see only two offers this year and the Tide has no shot at either.
Andrew Bone: The center position is likely a priority in next year's class.
bucwildbammer: How many of the guys already committed are early enrollees?
Andrew Bone: Austin Shepherd, Chad Lindsay, Phillip Sims, Devonta Bolton, Brandon Lewis, Jalston Fowler are expected to enroll early.
bama-is-rolling: Have the NCAA sanctions had any affect on any of the recruits that you talk to?
Andrew Bone: No.
bucwildbammer: Do you like Fowler as a power type RB or a do-it-all FB
Andrew Bone: Power RB who can do it all.
Crimson Reign: Where do you think that the nation's top kicker Michael Palardy ends up?
Andrew Bone: Palardy-I don't know, but I don't think Alabama.
jcg_basketball12: do you think phillip sims has a real good shot at starting next year or will it take a year for him to get used to going under center
Andrew Bone: He will have an opportunity just like everyone else.
jcg_basketball12: why has bama not offered Darryl Collins isn't he suppose to be one of the top if not the top player in the state next year
Andrew Bone: He's one of the top players in the state for the class of 2011. It's very rare for prospects to receive an offer this early.
bucwildbammer: Do you think we'll eventually pass Texas for the #1 class again this year or you think Florida or LSU beats us for the top class?
Andrew Bone: I think someone will pass Texas.
jcg_basketball12: who does bama have a better chance of landing in the 2011 class C.J. Uzomah or teddy bridgewater
Andrew Bone: C.J. at this point only because two of his OL teammates are committed [Shepherd, J. James]. I have not talked with Bridgewater. Uzomah is recruited as an athlete.
Crimson Reign: Who is Teddy Bridgewater? I have heard some people talking about him lately.
Andrew Bone: Probably the top quarterback in the SE next year from Miami-Northwestern.
bucwildbammer: So in the end do you think Owens ends up on the plains or do you think he'll buck his family & sign with Bama?
Andrew Bone: The longer he waits the better shot for Alabama. He is really intrigued by coach Sal and coach Willis. BUT, Auburn leads for his signature.
bucwildbammer: Do you think that Malone has a chance of shooting up the rankings with the same type of production this year that he has had every year?
Andrew Bone: Yes. I think he has a great chance to move up in the rankings.
jcg_basketball12: will belue play a certain position or will he be a specialist
Andrew Bone: He can play cornerback or safety. I do think he can make a lot of plays on special teams.
jcg_basketball12: who is leading for neiron ball
Andrew Bone: Florida and Georgia.
jcg_basketball12: where do you see prater going
Andrew Bone: I don't really know. Favorites inlcude Alabama, Illinois, Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, USC.
jcg_basketball12: where do you think cobbs will end up and will bama get an official from him?
Andrew Bone: I think Alabama has a really good shot with Cobbs, and an official visit as well.
bamaforlife'72: Do you feel that a few of the prospects on our board are already silent commits?
Andrew Bone: No.
bucwildbammer: Are there any more elite D ends that you could see us ending up with
Andrew Bone: Mainly the ones we have talked about--Corey Lemonier, Dexter Morant, Kaleb Eulls, Jordan Allen.
jcg_basketball12: will gio bernard take an official to bama
Andrew Bone: He might. He does have an offer and considering Alabama.
bucwildbammer: did J. Hamilton's visit help our chances any with landing him?
Andrew Bone: I think it helped, but it's tough to pull away from UGA.
dh3119: Does Bama still have a good shot with DB's Peters; Grimes; Fulton; Allen; Williams; & Hamilton?
Andrew Bone: I think Alabama's defensive back class will look like this--Milliner, Belue, Fulton, Perry, Williams, Allen.
