Tide basketball teams TV dates released

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama men’s basketball team will get major national television exposure for three Southeastern Conference games in new head coach Anthony Grant’s first season under the SEC’s new television package.
Alabama will play on CBS when it hosts Mississippi State on Jan. 23 in an 11 a.m. game. The Crimson Tide will host Tennessee in an ESPN-televised game at 6 p.m. on Jan. 19 and host Ole Miss in a 1 p.m. game on Feb. 27 that will be televised by ESPN2.
Alabama will play on ESPNU three times — at home against Florida on Feb. 4 in a 6 p.m. game, at Kentucky on Feb. 9,, at South Carolina on March 3.
Fox Sports Net will televise Alabama’s game at LSU on Jan. 9 at 4 p.m. and the Tide’s game at Ole Miss on Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. CSS will televise Vanderbilt at Alabama on Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. and UA at Mississippi State on Feb. 24 at 8 p.m.
Several Tide games will be regionally syndicated as part of the SEC Network package: at Arkansas on Jan. 16 at 12:30 p.m., at home against LSU on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m., at Auburn on Jan. 30 at 3 p.m., at home against Arkansas on Feb. 13 at 3 p.m., at Georgia on Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. and at home against Auburn on March 6 at 12:30 p.m.
Alabama is expected to release its full schedule soon.
