ANDREW BONE: Tide commitments shine

The University of Alabama continues to roll up big yardage on the offensive side of the ball. Several of the Tide's future stars are doing well on the high school gridiron as well.
Corey Grant, Scout.com four-star running back from Opelika High School, helped his team past Enterprise 27-24 in overtime. Grant had 26 carries for 206 yards and two touchdowns in the vistory. Opelika will face Vigor at home this week.
Blake Sims, Scout.com four-star safety from Gainesville High School in Ga., continues to put up impressive numbers this season. He accounted for 290 total yards with four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown in a 55-12 win over North Hall.
Phillip Sims, Scout.com five-star quarterback from Oscar F. Smith High School in Chesapeake, Va., was 17-of-27 for 219 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in a 34-0 win over King’s Fort.
Keiwone Malone, Scout.com three-star wide receiver from Mitchell Road High School in Memphis, Tenn., caught two touchdown passes but lost to Melrose 26-25.
Ronald Carswell, Scout.com four-star wide receiver from Westside High School in Macon, Ga., had three receptions including a 26-yard touchdown in a 27-7 win over Jones County.
Expect several of Alabama's commitments to attend the big SEC match-up this weekend as the Tide welcomes Arkansas to Tuscaloosa.
