Softball named to NFCA All-Academic Team

STARKVILLE, Miss. | The University of Alabama softball team has been honored for its work in the classroom. Alabama was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 10 All-Academic Team, based on GPAs submitted for the 2008-09 school year.
Alabama checked in at No. 10 among all Division I teams. Robert Morris was the top team in the rankings with a 3.610 GPA. The Crimson Tide posted a 3.440 GPA for the academic year.
