Chat transcript (10-21-09)

Bowlingist: Who is visiting for the TN game?

Andrew Bone: A lot of unofficial visitors are expected- only two official visitors-Alfy Hill and Phillip Sims.

dahlen: no Jordan Hicks?

Andrew Bone: No. He will reschedule.

cjw73: has jeff luc visited and if not will he?

Andrew Bone: He visited during the summer [unofficial]. Alabama is still in the running to receive an official visit.

Bowlingist: What is your best guess on who fills the last 6 spots for Bama?

Andrew Bone: C.J. Mosley, James Stone and Keenan Allen are three good possibilities. It's a toss up who will close out the Tide's class.

dahlen: Is Dixon coming as an unofficial?

Andrew Bone: I don't think he is visiting this weekend at all. He will likely reschedule later on this season. [Scout.com had an interview with him Wednesday afternoon.]

bp84: Is SC still the team to beat for Fulton after his visit last weekend?

Andrew Bone: I wouldn't give S.C. the edge at this point. I think Alabama has made a strong push and even for Fulton. I really think it comes down to Bama-Florida-S.C.

Bowlingist: Are there any 2010 prospects that haven't been offered that might yet get an offer from Bama?

Andrew Bone: A couple of guys still on the radar. It's tough at this point to see any new offers extended with so few spots available. Continue to keep an eye on players like Carlos Gray and Jamal Woodyard in-state. Watch out for Maurice Hayes (Juco DT) as well.

gear003: whats your prediction for the game this weekend

Andrew Bone: 31-13.

Lucian12: who would you list amoung the bama guys as "soft verbal"?

Andrew Bone: We don't list players as soft verbals until they schedule official visits to other schools. No Alabama commitments have done that at this point. A couple who may decide to take other official visits include Keiwone Malone and Blake Sims.

dahlen: Have you heard anything about Richt calling Blake Sims personally, saying he was going to recruit him himself?

Andrew Bone: Yes. Scout.com broke the story yesterday. Coach Richt said he was personally taking over Blake's recruitment for Georgia. I think it has the Sims family interested. They may visit, but I have spoken with Blake and his father several times. I believe he will stick with Alabama.
