Mike Harris, cornerback from El Camino Community College in Torrance, Calif., took an official visit to Tuscaloosa for the Tennessee game. He could not have picked a more exciting game to trip to the University of Alabama.

"The visit was great,” said Harris. "I loved it out there. Everything about the visit was great. I thought the game was great. It was my first ever trip to the state of Alabama. It seems like everyone loves Alabama football. The atmosphere there was incredible. It was packed and very loud. I loved every minute of it."

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback is having a great season and will graduate in December. His stats for the 2009 season (thru Oct. 18th) include three interceptions for 93 yards, two touchdowns with a 70-long; 21 solo tackles, three assists, six pass break-ups and one fumble recovery.

Harris has received several scholarship offers including Alabama, Florida, Florida International, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma State, Purdue and Tennessee.
