TUSCALOOSA | Philip Dockery, a member of Crimson Tide Aquatics, was named to the 2009 USA Swimming's Scholastic All-American list.

USA Swimming's Scholastic All-America program recognizes students who excell in the classroom as well as in the pool.

To qualify for the All-America program students must be in the 10th-12th grades, maintain a 3.5 GPA, and a bonus Junior National Qualifying Standard in any race.

Dockery is a senior at Hillcrest and qualified for Junior Nationals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events this past summer.

This is the second time Dockery has been named as a Scholastic All-American.
