Keenan Allen, Scout.com five-star safety from Northern Guilford High School in Greensboro, N.C., gave his commitment to Alabama following the Tide's 24-15 win over LSU Saturday night.
"I felt like Alabama was the place where I wanted to be," said Keenan Allen. "I have known for about two or three months that I wanted to go to Alabama. I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision."
"The game was crazy. The crowd was great. Julio’s touchdown run was great. I really enjoyed it. I finally was able to see a game down there. The stadium and crowd are both very nice. The coaching staff is great."
Allen committed Alabama over several offers including Cal, Clemson, North Carolina, Oregon and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete was recruited as a wide receiver.
