SAN JOSE, Calif. | San Jose State announced Thursday the hiring of former Duke assistant Mike MacIntyre as its new head coach.
MacIntyre, who served as defensive coordinator at Duke, signed a five-year deal.
According to published reports, Alabama offensive coordinator Jim McElwain interviewed for the San Jose State opening.
