UA gymnastics holds on to No. 1 ranking

TUSCALOOSA | The University of Alabama gymnastics team held onto its No. 1 ranking during its off week as the team prepares for its last home meet of the season against Michigan Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
Oklahoma, which topped the Tide two weeks ago, is second.
The Southeastern Conference dominates the rankings with four teams in the top six. Georgia is fourth, Florida is fifth and Arkansas is sixth.
Alabama ranks first on the vault, second on the uneven bars and floor and third on the balance beam.
Senior Morgan Dennis ranks sixth in the all-around, seventh in the vault and second on the floor.
Ashley Priess is 10th on the uneven bars and seventh on the balance beam.
