Crimson Chris: How are we looking with Quinta Funderburk?

If Sylve ends up with LSU, do you think we go after another receiver to replace him?

Andrew Bone: We're not hearing much from Funderburk as far as his status on the recruiting board. The LSU coaching staff conntinues to pursue Sylve, but it may take a lot for him to switch his commitment. They are pursuing other wide outs to fill their spots.

sarcastro: Are Ryan Kelly and Trey Depriest friends? Does Kelly's commitment help our chances with Depriest?

Andrew Bone: They met once at an Alabama camp, but that's it. Kelly's commitment will not influence DePriest.

sarcastro: Are any of Bama's DB targets (Florence, Rose, Therezie, Roberson, C. Jones, Purifoy, Swann, Mitchell) commiting before the season starts?

Andrew Bone: Rose, Purifoy and possibly Swann will commit before the season. Rose to Auburn and Purifoy to Florida. I think Swann chooses Georgia if he commits early. I think Alabama has a great shot if waits a little longer.

Crimson Chris: Do we have any shot with Doran Grant? Where do we stand with Nickolas Brassell?

Andrew Bone: I do not think Grant will end up at Alabama. I think it's Alabama or Miss State at this point for Brassell. Alabama has a very good shot here.

Sogr8ful: What are your thoughts on the Kelly commitment?

Andrew Bone: It was a good surprise commitment for the Tide. Alabama really wanted a center prospect in this class. They just got the No. 2 center in the country, rated by Scout.com.

Sogr8ful: What's the buzz on the recent CB prospect we offered (Purifoy)?

Andrew Bone: Purifoy is a big talent who exploded on the scene this summer. I expect him to commit to Florida very soon. Maybe as early as FNL this week in Gainesville.

Sogr8ful: Do you think any remaining O-Line prospects we sign will be Tackles or are we still actively recruiting any interior linemen?

Andrew Bone: I don't think Alabama will sign any additional interior guys.
