Alabama’s spring football finale, the Golden Flake A-Day Game, will be at 1 p.m. on April 18 and played in front of a limited crowd due to stadium construction. UA released a statement confirming the details Thursday afternoon.
UA says the seating capacity for the scrimmage, the 15th and final practice of spring, will be between 30,000 and 35,000. Seating will be available in the south and east sides on the lower and upper bowls. There will be limited concessions and four water stations through the concourses.
Once Bryant-Denny Stadium has reached its capacity, the baseball stadium — Sewell-Thomas Stadium — will be opened and fans can watch on the video board. The baseball team is playing a series at Texas A&M that weekend.
Before the game, 2019 captains Anfernee Jennings, Xavier McKinney, DeVonta Smith and Tua Tagovailoa will have their hand and cleat prints cemented with team captains from previous years around Denny Chimes. That ceremony is scheduled to happen at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Bryant-Denny Stadium’s gates open at 10 a.m.
