Four-star safety Brian Branch announced his commitment to Alabama on Friday night, adding to the Crimson Tide’s 2020 class.
The 6-foot, 182-pound Tyrone, Georgia, native is rated the No. 18 safety and the No. 225 overall player in the nation, according to 247 Composite Rankings. He’s the No. 25 player in Georgia.
Branch shared his decision with a video on Twitter.

Branch chose Alabama over Oklahoma and Tennessee, among other programs.
The Crimson Tide now has 15 commitments in its top-ranked 2020 class. Branch is the fourth defensive back, joining 4-star cornerback Malachi Moore, 4-star safety Javier Morton and 3-star cornerback Jahquez Robinson. Branch is also Alabama’s fourth commit from Georgia. The others are Morton, 4-star wide receiver Javon Baker and 3-star offensive tackle Seth McLaughlin.
