Alabama led the nation with six players chosen as AP All-Americans, it was announced on Monday. The Crimson Tide also led the way with four players named to the first team.

Junior left tackle Jonah Williams and sophomore wide receiver Jerry Jeudy were first-team picks on offense. Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and safety Deionte Thompson were on the first-team defense.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and center Ross Pierschbacher were on the second team. Alabama did not have any selections on the third team.

Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray was the first-team quarterback. Oklahoma, Alabama’s opponent in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 29, had four picks on the three teams, all of which were on offense.
