Alabama has recruited the 2019 class heavily, offering many top-prospects the past couple of weeks. This week, Nick Saban and his staff turned their focus towards the 2020 class.

Here is the latest on Alabama’s recruiting prospects. All star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:

  • Four-star prospect Cortez Andrews named Alabama among his top five schools on Twitter on Monday. Andrews, the No. 23 safety in the 2019 class, is seen as leading towards Alabama. Andrews also tweeted about a visit he received during the week.

  • 2020 tight end prospect Darnell Washington had a good week. He received an offer from Alabama on Tuesday and followed that up with an offer from Oklahoma on Friday. 247Sports has Washington as the 88th-ranked prospect in the class.

  • Another 2020 prospect, Jaquelin Roy, tweeted on Wednesday that he had received an offer from the Crimson Tide. Roy currently holds five offers, including four from teams in the SEC. He’s a 4-star defensive tackle prospect from University Lab in Baton Rouge, the same school that produced Tim Williams.

  • Athlete Arian Smith picked up offers on Wednesday from Miami, Tennessee and Alabama.

  • Defensive end Bralen Trice received an offer from Alabama on Wednesday. Trice, a weak-side defensive end, currently holds 10 offers and is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports rankings. He’s from the Phoenix area, a new territory Alabama can reach with special teams coach Jeff Banks.

  • 2020 offensive guard Geirean Hatchett tweeted he received an Alabama offer on Thursday. Hatchett is a four-star prospect the and No. 5 guard in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports’ rankings.

  • Jack Miller, a 2020 pro-style quarterback from Scottsdale, Arizona, tweeted he received an Alabama offer this past week. Miller currently holds 18 offers, including ones from Ohio State and Auburn.

  • 2020 cornerback prospect Miles Brooks received both a visit from Alabama coach Brent Key and an Alabama offer on Thursday. Brooks also received an offer from Kentucky on the same day.

  • Three-star wide receiver Jacoby Pinckney tweeted he received an offer from Alabama Thursday. Pinckney is the 68th-ranked receiver in the 2019 class.

  • 2020 defensive back Elias Ricks received an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide on Friday. Ricks is ranked as the No. 2 cornerback and the 18th overall prospect in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports rankings. He seemed excited about his offer.

  • Four-star running back Deondrick Glass included Alabama in his top 10. Glass is the 17th-ranked back in the 2019 class. He received an offer from Alabama in May 26.

  • 2020 defensive tackle Kevon Billingsley tweeted he received an Alabama offer on Friday. The offer from the Crimson Tide is the 18th offer Billingsley has received during his recruitment.

  • 2020 athlete Daniyel Ngata received an offer from the Crimson Tide on Friday.

  • Four-star wide receiver Zion Puckett named Alabama among his top 10 schools. Puckett is the 36th-ranked receiver prospect in the 2019 class.

  • 2020 Auburn commit Andy Boykin tweeted he received an offer from Alabama on Saturday. Boykin, a strong-side defensive end, committed to the Tigers on Nov. 21.

  • Three-star offensive guard Ira Henry received an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday. Henry, the 72nd-ranked guard in the 2019 class, is currently predicted to sign with Illinois, according to the crystal balls.

Basketball:

  • Forward Greg Gantt tweeted he received an offer from Alabama on Wednesday. Gant, the 23rd-ranked small forward and the 78th-ranked prospect in the 2019 class, currently holds 27 offers, but the crystal balls project him to Virginia Tech.
