Alabama reserve tight end Kedrick James, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound junior from Waco, Texas, has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from al.com.

James appeared in five games in the 2018 season but did not play after sustaining a high ankle sprain in the Arkansas game. He appeared in five games as a freshman in 2017.

James was suspended before the 2018 Orange Bowl against Oklahoma last season as well as the 2019 College Football Playoff title game against Clemson.

At the A-Day Game in April, James caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from Mac Jones.
