CLEMSON, S.C. — Philip Pearson, a former University of Alabama interim head basketball coach, assistant coach and Crimson Tide player, has been named Clemson University men’s basketball director of recruiting.
The announcement was made by Clemson and head coach Brad Brownell.
Pearson’s collegiate coaching background includes Alabama, Georgia, Murray State, Arkansas-Little Rock, and, this past season, Mercer.Teams the Montgomery native has been on staff have combined for 17 postseason appearances and six conference championships.
