A-Day is always a big weekend for recruiting and this year was no different, with dozens of prospects on campus to check out the Crimson Tide. Here is the latest from the Alabama recruiting trail. All rankings and star ratings come from the 247Sports Composite.
-Quarterback Jarren Williams, who picked up an Alabama offer earlier this month while visiting campus, has decommitted from Kentucky. Williams is a 3-star prospect ranked as the No. 17 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2018.

-Two top wide receivers for the 2018 class, five-star Justyn Ross and Jacob Copeland, got to have a ridealong with Nick Saban this weekend. Both players are top Alabama targets, and seemed to enjoy spending time with the head coach. Ross is the No. 1 player in Alabama, while Copeland is ranked as the No. 9 wide receiver. Both have offers.

-All three of Alabama’s 2018 commits were on campus for the A-Day game. Xavier Williams, Jordan Davis and Dameon Pierce posted a photo together from the sideline. Williams then reaffirmed his choice on Twitter.

-Alabama picked up a commitment for the 2019 class in offensive lineman Pierce Quick. Quick is an in-state player, and Alabama has been the front-runner for quite some time. Coming from Hewitt-Trussville, Quick is 6-foot-5, 285 pounds. It is Alabama’s second commit for the 2019 class.
-Four-star wide receiver Jordyn Adams announced his top five on Twitter and Alabama made the cut. Adams is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound recruit from Cary, North Carolina. He currently has an offer from Alabama and ranks as the No. 30 wide receiver in this year’s class.

-Four-star receiver Chase Cota announced on Twitter that he picked up an offer from Alabama. Cota is a top prospect in the state of Oregon, ranking as the No. 2 player in that state. He is the No. 23 player in this year’s class and stands at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. Cota mostly has west coast offers, but fellow SEC school Georgia has also offered him.

–JT Daniels, a top quarterback prospect for the 2019 class, took a visit to Tuscaloosa early in the week. Daniels attends powerhouse Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Cali. and stands at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds. Daniels has held an offer from the Crimson Tide since Jan. 19.

-In-state recruit Andres Fox visited Alabama on Saturday for A-Day and posted a picture with current outside linebacker Terrell Hall. Fox is a three-star defensive end from Mobile. He currently has an offer from Alabama, which he picked up on Junior Day on Feb. 27. Fox stands at 6-foot-4, 232 pounds and is the No. 13 player in the state of Alabama.

-Four-star linebacker Amari Gainer was on campus for the A-Day game on Saturday. Gainer picked up an offer from Alabama on Feb. 27 and has visited Alabama once before. He recently revealed his top six as well, which included the Crimson Tide. Alabama seems to be going after him hard. He is the No. 23 player at his position. Gainer seemed to enjoy A-Day MVP Jerry Jeudy’s performance, as he tweeted about it from the sideline.

-Class of 2019 recruit Tyron Hopper visited Alabama on Saturday and picked up an offer from the Crimson Tide. Hopper is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound cornerback from Gaffney, South Carolina. Hopper also has an offer from SEC school South Carolina.

–Jaycee Horn, a three-star cornerback, visited Tuscaloosa for A-Day. Horn has an offer from Alabama, and also recently named the Crimson Tide his front-runner, according to 247Sports. Horn is from Alpharetta, Georgia and is 6-feet, 170 pounds. He recently won the defensive back MVP at a Rivals.com camp in Atlanta, Georgia.

-Four-star athlete Talanoa Hufanga visited Alabama for the team’s A-Day game. Hufanga is the No. 2 athlete in this year’s class. He also ranks as the No. 1 player in his home state of Oregon. Hufanga is 6 feet, 193 pounds.

-Four-star running back Asa Martin was in attendance for Alabama’s A-Day game, and left Tuscaloosa with a scholarship offer. The Decatur native (Austin High School) is the No. 5 player in the state of Alabama, and ranks as the No. 8 running back overall. Martin is 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, and also has an offer from Auburn.

–Joshua Moore, a four-star receiver from IMG Academy, revealed his top seven schools. The Crimson Tide made the cut. Moore has an offer from Alabama is the No. 13 wide receiver in this year’s class. Overall, he ranks inside the top 100 and stands at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds.

-Five-star defensive end Micah Parsons announced that he has decommitted from Penn State. Parsons currently holds an offer from Alabama, and is ranked as the No. 3 overall player in this year’s class. The Crimson Tide will most likely go after Parsons pretty hard to try and add another stud to their defensive line for next year. Parsons is 6-foot-3, 235 pounds and is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

-Class of 2020 athlete Michael Robertson visited Alabama on Saturday for A-Day, and left town with a scholarship offer. Robertson is 5-foot-11, 185 pounds and is from Savannah, Georgia. He also has offers from Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee.

-Four-star defensive end Ron Tatum announced his top five on Twitter and it includes Alabama. Tatum is from Oklahoma City and ranks as the No. 5 player in his state and the No. 4 player at his position. He is 6-foot-4, 269 pounds and has had an offer from Alabama since Jan. 18. Tatum also included fellow SEC school Georgia in his top five.

-Four-star recruit Channing Tindall visited Alabama on A-Day and picked up an offer from the Crimson Tide. Tindall is an outside linebacker from Columbia, South Carolina. He measures at 6-foot-2, 213 pounds, and is the No. 22 outside linebacker in this year’s class. Alabama is Tindall’s sixth offer from an SEC school.

–Jaylen Waddle, a four-star wide receiver, received an offer from Alabama, according to his Twitter account. Waddle, who is from Bellaire, Texas, is ranked as the No. 19 receiver. He is 5-foot-9, 175 pounds and ranks inside the top 100 overall.
