Alabama once again was hot on the recruiting trail, offering more players from all over the country. Here are the latest updates from the Alabama front. All star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:

-The Collegiate Commissioners Association voted to install an early signing period, which will be effective for the 2018 class. The early signing period will be 72 hours long and will occur on Dec. 20-22.

-Running back Slade Bolden announced that he has earned an offer from Alabama. The three-star recruit comes from West Monroe, Louisiana. He is 5-foot-11, 195 pounds and ranks among the top 50 players in the state of Louisiana.

-Nebraska commit Cameron Brown received an offer from Alabama, according to his Twitter account. Brown is a 6-foot-1, 175-pound wide receiver from Saint Louis, Missouri. He is a three-star recruit who ranks as the No. 7 player in his home state. He committed to Nebraska on May 7.

-Class of 2019 cornerback Moses Douglass received an offer from Alabama, according to his Twitter account. Douglass is a 6-foot-2, 186-pound recruit from Springfield, Ohio. Alabama is just the second SEC school to offer Douglass, with Kentucky doing so back on April 14.

-JUCO defensive end Dorian Gerald announced on Twitter that he has received an offer from Alabama. Gerald is 6-foot-3, 255 pounds and plays the strong side. He currently attends the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California.

Grant Gunnell, a class of 2019 pro-style quarterback, posted on Twitter that he has received an offer from Alabama. Gunnell is from Houston, Texas and is 6-foot-5, 203 pounds. He currently holds offers from major programs such as Florida State, LSU Oregon and Texas A&M.

-Linebacker Michael Harris announced his top seven schools on Twitter and Alabama was included. Harris is a three-star player from Tucker, Ga. who ranks as the No. 14 player in this year’s class. He is 6-foot-2, 213 pounds. He has had an offer from Alabama since Feb. 16.

Bryson Jackson, a wide receiver from Houston, Texas, has received an offer from Alabama, according to his Twitter account. He is a three-star recruit who stands at 5-foot-11, 174 pounds. Alabama now joins Arkansas, Missouri and Vanderbilt as the SEC schools to offer Jackson.

Darnell Jefferies, a three-star defensive tackle, announced his top 10 on Twitter recently. Alabama made the cut with Jefferies, who is ranked as the No. 30 defensive tackle in the 2018 class. Jefferies currently stands at 6-foot-2, 275 pounds. He is from Covington. Ga. Jefferies took a visit to Tuscaloosa back on April 27.

-Class of 2019 recruit Jalon Jones announced on Twitter that he has received a scholarship offer from Alabama. Jones is a dual-threat quarterback from Baltimore, M.D. Alabama is the second SEC school to offer Jones. He stands at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds.

-Four-star tight end Leonard Taylor posted on Twitter that Alabama has extended him a scholarship offer. Taylor ranks as the No. 8 tight end in this year’s class and as the No. 8 player in his home state of Ohio. He is 6-foot-5, 246 pounds. Alabama is the third SEC school to offer Taylor.

-Class of 2020 quarterback DJ Uiagalelei announced on Twitter that Alabama has offered him a scholarship. Uiagalelei is 6-foot-4, 190 pounds and comes from Bellflower, California. Alabama is the first SEC school to offer him, but other big programs such as Oregon and USC have offered.

-Defensive end Elijah Wade announced on Twitter that he has received an offer from Alabama. Wade, a four-star, ranks as the No. 11 weak-side defensive end for the 2018 class. He comes from Las Vegas, Nev., where he ranks as the No. 4 player in the state. He is 6-foot-5, 240 pounds. Vanderbilt is the only other SEC school to offer Wade.

-Four-star recruit Quay Walker posted his top five schools to his Twitter account, which included Alabama. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound outside linebacker is No. 11 player at his position. Walker, who is from Cordele, Ga., ranks as the No. 20 player in his home state. Walker’s top five included all SEC schools.
