Alabama continued its trek towards another solid recruiting class. Here is what happened in the past week. All star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:

-The week ended with a bang when Alabama found its replacement for JK Scott. Punter Skyler DeLong flipped his commitment from Tennessee. He’s among the best punters in the 2018 class.

Houston Griffith announced that he received an offer from Alabama on Monday, and announced his top 7 schools with Alabama being one of them two days later. The four-star cornerback is the No. 8 corner in the country and the No. 11 player in the state of Florida. The Bradenton, Fla native is 6-1 and 192 pounds.

– Four-star Jordan Davis announced he received an offer from Ohio State. Davis committed to Alabama on Dec. 10. The 6-5, 238-pound defensive end is ranked as the No. 5 player from Tennessee and the No. 12 defensive end.

– Three-star defensive tackle Darnell Jefferies announced on Twitter that he committed to Clemson. The 6-2, 275-pound tackle is the No. 29 defensive tackle in the country and the No. 41 player from Georgia.

– Three-star John Campbell announced on Twitter his top 10 schools, with Alabama making it. Campbell is the No. 35 offensive tackle in his class and the No. 64 player from Florida. He is an Orlando native.

– Three-star defensive end Fabien Lovett announced his top three schools on Twitter. The Olive Branch, Miss native named Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss as his top three schools. Lovett is the No. 35 strong-side defensive end in his class and the No. 18 player from the state of Mississippi. He finished his 2016 season with 86 tackles, 21 for loss. He also forced three fumbles.

– Four-star Tommy Brown announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. Brown is the No. 14 offensive tackle and the No. 20 player from the state of California. His father Vince was on Alabama’s track and field team in the early 80s.

– Four-star Kyler McMichael announced his top six schools on Twitter, with Alabama making the list. McMichael is the No. 13 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 13 cornerback in the country.

– Four-star offensive tackle Rafiti Ghirmai announced is top six schools on Twitter: Alabama, Florida, LSU, Miami, Texas, UCLA. The 6-4 290-pound tackle is a product of Frisco, Texas. He is ranked as the No. 22 offensive tackle in his class and the No. 39 player overall from the state of Texas.

– Three-star James Williams announced his top six schools on Twitter. The Jackson, Miss native is the No. 4 player from the state of Mississippi and the No. 15 strong-side defensive end in his class. He finished his 2016 season with 90 tackles, 17 of which were for loss and 12 sacks.

Caleb Tremblay announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. The 6-5, 270-pound defensive tackle is a transfer from American River Community College. He finished his 2016 season with 30 tackles, 6.5 were for loss, and three sacks.

– Five-star George Karlaftis III announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. The West Lafayette Ind native is 6-3 and weighs 253 pounds. He is in the 2019 recruiting class.

Harry Miller announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. Miller stands at 6-4 and weighs in at 310-pounds. The Buford, Ga native is in the 2019 class.

– Offensive Tackle Amari Kight announded on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. The Alabaster native stands 6-5 and weighs 300-pounds. He is in the class of 2019.

– Five-star wide receiver Brandon Turnage announced that he received an offer from Alabama. The Oxford, Miss native stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 180 pounds. Turnage finished 2016 with 381 yards and three touchdowns off 23 receptions. He is in the 2019 class.

– Five-star Matt Corral announced that he was decommitting from USC. Corral is opening back up his recruitment and Alabama is on his list. The 6-2 quarterback weighs 192 pounds and is ranked as the No. 2 player in California and the No. 2 pro-style quarterback.

– Five-star wide receiver Justyn Ross announced his top five on Twitter with Alabama on the list. Ross is the No. 1 player from the state of Alabama and the No. 5 wide receiver in the country. The Phenix City native stands at 6-4 and weighs 197 pounds.

– Four-star cornerback Isaac Taylor-Stuart announced on Twitter his top 16 schools, with Alabama on the list. He is the No. 5 player from the state of California and the No. 5 corner in the country. He stands at 6-2 and weighs 187 pounds.

– Four-star Xavier Peters announced his top 10 schools on Twitter, with Alabama on the list. Peters is ranked as the No. 17 outside linebacker in the country and the No. 9 player in the state of Ohio. Peters stands at 6-4 and weighs 225 pounds.

– Five-star Doug Nester announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. Nester stands at 6-5 and weighs 295 pounds. He is in the 2019 recruiting class.

– Five-star Stephen Herron announced his top 10 schools on Twitter. Herron is a Louisville, Ky. native and comes in weighing 235 pounds and stands 6-3. He is in the 2019 recruiting class.

– Five-star Cortez Andrews announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. Andrews is from Tallahassee, Fla. The safety stands at 6-2 and weighs 205 pounds. He is in the 2019 recruiting class.
