Former linebacker Shawn Jennings announced on Twitter that he committed to South Alabama.

The former three-star linebacker is a native of Dadeville, Ala. He announced on June 1, that he would leave the program to pursue playing time somewhere else.
Jennings redshirted his only season as a member of the Crimson Tide.
Coming out of high school, Jennings was ranked as the No. 37 athlete in his class and the No. 21 player from the state of Alabama by 247sports composite.
His brother Anfernee Jennings is a redshirt sophomore and is expected to be one of the Crimson Tide’s key players at outside linebacker this upcoming season.
