Four-star cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis announced his commitment to Alabama, as first reported by Ben Thomas.

The Mobile native chose the Crimson Tide over in-state rival Auburn and several other FBS schools. He comes in at 6-0 and 160 pounds. He had an unofficial visit to Alabama on June 3.

According to 247Sports composite, Armour-Davis is ranked as the No. 15 cornerback in the country and the No. 3 player from the state of Alabama.

He finished his junior season with 31 tackles and three interceptions. He’s committed to play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

With his commitment, Alabama now has five players in the 2018 class. Including Armour-Davis, four of the five recruits are four-star. He joins punter Skyler DeLong and linebacker Quay Walker, who both commited earlier this month.
