Alabama started the week off slow, but heated up late. The Crimson Tide managed to add to its 2018 class and made it to several player’s lists of top schools. All star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:
-Four-star cornerback Jayln Armour-Davis announced that he committed to Alabama on Friday. The Mobile native stands at six feet and 160 pounds. He is ranked as the No. 3 player from the state of Alabama and the No. 15 cornerback in the country. He is the fifth player in the 2018 class.

-Four-star cornerback Jaycee Horn announced his top two schools on Twitter, with Alabama being one of them. Horn is a 6-0, 174-pound product of Alpharetta high school from Alpharetta, Ga. He is ranked as the No. 23 cornerback in the country and the No. 22 player from the state of Georgia.

-Four-star defensive end Stephon Wynn Jr. announced this top three schools on Twitter, with Alabama making the list. The 6-4, 285-pound defensive end is ranked as the No. 5 strong-side defensive end and the No. 23 player from the state of South Carolina.

-Four-star defensive tackle Coynis Miller announced his top five schools on Twitter in a video hosted by al.com. Alabama made the list, as did Auburn and Florida. Miller is ranked as the No. 17 defensive tackle in his class and the No. 6 player from the state of Alabama. The Birmingham native is listed at 6-1.5 and weighs 300 pounds.

A pair of skill positions announced on Twitter that they had visits at Alabama.
-Four-star wide receiver Kearis Jackson announced on Twitter that he had a visit coming up at Tuscaloosa. The 5-11.5 203-pound product of Fort Valley, Ga is ranked as the No. 19 wide receiver and the No. 12 player from the state of Georgia. Jackson’s official 40 time is 4.53 seconds.

-Four-star running back Harold Joiner announced his visit to Alabama on Twitter. The Birmingham native is the No. 5 running back in the 2018 class and the No. 4 player in the state of Alabama. The 6-3 218-pound running back took his unofficial visit on Thursday.

A trio of Alabama targets committed to other Power Five Schools
-Four-star cornerback Kyler McMichael announced his commitment to Clemson on Twitter. The 6-0, 196-pound Norcross, Ga. Product is ranked as the No. 13 player from the state of Georgia and the No. 13 cornerback in the country. On June 14, McMichael announced his top six schools. Alabama was one of those schools.

-Three-star running back Tavion Thomas announced on Twitter that he committed to Oklahoma. The Dayton, Ohio native stands at 6-2 and weighs 225 pounds. He is ranked as the No. 18 running back in the country and the No. 17 player from the state of Ohio. Alabama offered Thomas a scholarship on Feb. 16.

-Five-star running back Zamir White announced his decison to commit to Georgia on Tuesday. White is the No. 1 player from the state of North Carolina and the No. 1 running back in the 2018 class. He chose Georgia over Alabama and North Carolina. The 6-1 220-pound recruit is a Laurinburg, S.C. native. He finished his 2016 season with 1693 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns on 175 carries.
