As we get closer to the “dead period,” Alabama is making sure to send its offers before the season starts. All-star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:

Class of 2020 Dwight McGlothern announced that he received an offer from the University of Alabama. McGlothern is a cornerback and punt/kick returner. He stands at 6-1, while weighing 161 pounds. He is a New Caney, Texas native. 247sports’ prediction has him going to LSU right now.

Class of 2020 running back Zachary Evans announced on Twitter that he received an offer from Alabama. Evans is a Houston native, who attends North Shore High School. Like McGlothern, 247Sports’ crystal ball has him going to LSU.

Safety Jalyn Phillips announced on Twitter that he had received an offer from Alabama. Phillips is a native of Lawrenceville, Ga, who attends Archer High School. He stands 6-1, while weighing 190 pounds. He is in the 2019 recruiting class. His recorded 40-yard dash is listed at 4.50. He was offered by Virginia the same day Alabama offered him.

Phillip’s teammate Andrew Booth also received an offer from Alabama. Booth is another defensive back, specifically playing cornerback. He weighs 180 pounds while standing at six feet.

Class of 2019 DJ Turner II received an offer from Alabama last week. The 5-11 cornerback is a native of Suwanee, Ga. He has received offers from Clemson, Duke, Notre Dame and Tennessee just to name a few teams.

Four-star wide receiver Isaah Crocker announced his top-5 schools on Twitter, with Alabama making the cut. He is ranked as the No. 35 wide receiver in the 2018 class, while being the No. 24 player from the state of California. Crocker is a Sacramento, Calif. Native, who attends Inderkum High School. He received an offer from Alabama on July 17.

Four-star offensive tackle William Barnes announced his top-7 schools on Twitter, with Alabama being one of the schools. Barnes is the No. 5 offensive tackle in the 2018 class, while being the No. 7 player from Florida. Overall, he is the No. 45 player in the country. Alabama offered him last July.

Four-star Reuben Unije announced his top-7 schools in a video he released on Twitter, with Alabama making the cut. Unije is the No. 17 offensive tackle in the class of 2018 and the No. 45 player from Florida. He is a Bradenton, Fla. native who attends IMG Academy. Alabama offered him back in June of 2016.

Three-star Dominick WoodAnderson took his official visit to Alabama last week. He is the No. 1 tight end in the country while being the No. 2 player from Arizona. He is 6-5 while weighing 245 pounds. He currently attends Arizona Western College.
