The team worked on the back field as it dodged the rain. Here is what I witnessed during the media viewing period.
Offensive line
The first grouping of the offensive line remained the same with Jonah Williams, Ross Pierschbacher, Bradley Bozeman, Lester Cotton and Matt Womack from LT-RT. The second grouping was Scott Lashley, Dallas Warmack, J.C. Hassenauer, Deonte Brown and Alex Leatherwood. Junior college tackle Elliott Baker was with the last grouping. It’s not looking good for him if he’s hoping to make a contribution this season.
Secondary
Minkah Fitzpatrick has been all over the secondary this fall camp. He’s lined up at corner, safety and during Wednesday practice he was at Star. Tony Brown saw action at corner. At this point the coaching staff is trying players all over to find the right combination.
Outside linebackers
The group worked in the following order: Christian Miller, Anfernee Jennings, Terrell Lewis, Mekhi Brown, Ben Davis and Christopher Allen. Jamey Mosley was not spotted on the practice field during the media viewing period.
Inside linebackers
On the back field, the inside linebackers work right in front of the media. Nothing has changed there. It’s Rashaan Evans and Shaun Dion Hamilton as the first grouping. They’re followed by Keith Holcombe, Joshua McMillon, Mack Wilson, Dylan Moses and Markail Benton.
