The team worked indoors as a potential thunderstorm moved towards Tuscaloosa. Here is what I saw during the media viewing period.
Offensive line
Matt Womack remained with the ones. Jedrick Wills, who has been competing with Womack for the right tackle position, suffered an ankle injury at the end of the media viewing period. The injury didn’t appear to be overly serious, but he was attended to by medical personnel as we left practice.
Wide receivers
Wide receivers coach Mike Locksley was back with the group after missing Monday’s practice. Locksley’s son, Meiko, was shot and killed Sunday morning in the Baltimore area.
Linebackers
Shaun Dion Hamilton and Keith Holcombe worked at middle linebacker during Dime drills. Mack Wilson also rotated in out at inside linebacker during the drills. Rashaan Evans rode the exercise bike but was only using one leg.
Running backs
Josh Jacobs was going through drills with a strap on the back of his leg to help protect his hamstring. Damien Harris led the drills followed by Najee Harris, Brian Robinson (who was running scout team) and Bo Scarbrough.
