Alabama faced its toughest test of the season in LSU, but it managed to handle the Tigers 24-10. Several high profile recruits made the trip. All star ratings and rankings are from the 247Sports composite:

Four-star wide receiver Justyn Ross visited Alabama during its seventh straight win over LSU. Ross is the No. 47 player in the 2018 class, No. 1 player from Alabama and the No. 8 wide receiver in the country. The 6-4/201-pound receiver is playing in the Under Armour All-America Game on Jan. 4. His top five schools are Alabama, Clemson, Auburn, Florida and Florida State.

Four-star cornerback Kelvin Joseph was in attendance for Alabama’s win over LSU. Joseph decommitted from LSU on Oct. 6. The Baton Rouge, La. native is the No. 50 player in the 2018 class, No. 3 player from Louisiana and the No. 8 corner in the country. He will play for the West team in the U.S. Army All-American bowl.

Five-star offensive guard Kardell Thomas attended Alabama’s win over LSU. Thomas has been committed to LSU since July 22, 2016. The 6-4/320-pound guard is the No. 17 player in the 2018 class, No. 2 player from Louisiana and the No. 2 offensive guard. He is from Baton Rouge, La.

Four-star wide receiver and current Florida commit Jacob Copeland attended Alabama’s win over LSU. Copeland has been a Florida commit since Aug. 2. The six foot 192-pound receiver is the No. 45 player in the 2018 class, No. 7 wide receiver and the No. 8 player from Florida.

Five-star defensive end Nolan Smith unofficially visited Alabama. Smith committed to Georgia on Jan. 29. The 6-3/223-pound end is the No. 6 player in the 2019 class, No. 1 player from Florida and the No. 3 defensive end in his class. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds.

Four-star wide receiver Alontae Taylor unofficially visited during the LSU game. Taylor is a Tennessee commit, and has been since June 18, 2016. The 6-0/182-pound receiver is the No. 4 player from Tennessee and the No. 29 receiver in his class. Alabama offered the Manchester, Tenn. native  on Nov. 3.

Four-star cornerback Nadab Joseph too his official visit to Alabama on Saturday. Jospeh is the No. 21 corner in his class and the No. 41 player from Florida. The Miami native decommitted from LSU on Aug. 10. The 6-1.5/180-pound recruit listed Alabama, Georgia and LSU as his top three schools.

Four-star athlete Trezmen Marshall was at Alabama for its sixth conference win on the year. The 6-1/236-pound athlete is the No. 3 athlete in the 2019 class, No. 11 player from Georgia and the No. 72 overall prospect.

Three-star all-purpose back Jerome Ford was at Alabama for its 14-point win on Saturday. Ford is the No. 17 all-purpose back in the country and the No. 110 player from Florida. The 5-11/195-pound back has South Florida as his favorite.

Class of 2020 cornerback Sheridan Jones visited Alabama during its win on Saturday. Jones stands at 6-0 and weighs 165 pounds. The high school sophomore already has 13 offers, including one from Alabama, which he received on Feb. 25.

Class of 2020 offensive tackle Altrique Barlow unofficially visited Alabama on Saturday. Barlow stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 300 pounds. He has three offers so far.

Three-star defensive end Andres Fox visited Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Fox is the No. 11 player from Alabama and the No. 19 defensive end. The 6-4/245-pound end is from Mobile.

Four-star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle officially visited Alabama during its win over LSU. Waddle is the No. 67 player in the country, No. 7 player from Texas and the No. 11 receiver in the 2018 class. The 5-9.5/175-pound receiver will represent the West team in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Three-star tight end Glenn Beal visited Alabama during its ninth win of the season. Beal is the No. 17 tight end in the country and the No. 11 player from Louisiana. The 6-5/250-pound tight end has 19 offers, including one from Alabama.

Class of 2020 running back Zachary Evans unofficially visited Alabama on Saturday. The 6-0, 185-pound back already has 11 offers. He is a Houston native.

Current Alabama commits Jordan Davis, Cameron Latu, Skyer Delong and Vernon Jackson were all in attendance for Alabama’s win over LSU.

Four-star recruits Tommy Brown and Latu were both announced to the Polynesian Bowl.

Two-star fullback Elliott McElwain announced that he had received an offer from Alabama. McElwain is a current Army commit, and has been since July 4. The Trussville native is the No. 2 fullback in the country and the No. 66 player from Alabama.

Class of 2020 offensive tackle Brady Ward was at Alabama’s win over LSU. Ward plays for St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile, which is where current Alabama commit Jalyln Armour-Davis plays. Ward stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 294 pounds.

Class of 2020 cornerback De’Amare Chambers attended Alabama’s win over LSU.

Three-star safety Jarrian Jones announced on Twitter that he  received an offer from Alabama. Jones is the No. 12 player from Mississippi and the No. 29 safety in the 2019 class. The 6-1/185-pound safety ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.

In basketball news, three-star center Javian Fleming committed to Alabama on Friday. Fleming is the No. 4 player from Mississippi and the No. 13 center in his class. The 6-9/230 pound center chose Alabama over Georgetown. He joins Jared Butler in Alabama’s 2018 class.

Five-star small forward Trendon Watford attended Alabama’s win over LSU. Watford is the No. 13 player in the country, No. 1 player from Alabama and the No. 2 small forward in the 2019 class. The Birmingham native stands at 6-foot-8 and weighs 215 pounds.
