Alabama named 10 players of the week after its 31-24 victory over Mississippi State.

Running back Josh Jacobs, quarterback Jalen Hurts, lineman Jonah Williams and wide receiver Calvin Ridley were chosen for the offense, while linebacker Anfernee Jennings, lineman Quinnen Williams and backs Anthony Averett and Ronnie Harrison got picked on defense. The specials teams honorees were Keaton Anderson and Deionte Thompson.

Jacobs carried the ball six times for 36 yards and a score. He also caught two passes for 18 yards. Hurts completed 10 of his 19 passes for 242 yards and had 19 carries for 40 yards. He threw and ran for a pair of touchdowns, too. Ridley finished with a game-high 171 receiving yards on five receptions.

The Crimson Tide totaled 202 rushing and 232 passing yards and held the Bulldogs to 172 and 158, respectively.

Harrison made seven stops and was the Crimson Tide’s fourth-leading tackler. Jennings made six tackles and had a quarterback hurry. Averett took down five players and broke up two passes. Williams had four tackles, one for a loss of a yard, and a quarterback hurry. It was Williams’ first time receiving the honor.

On special teams, Alabama didn’t allow Mississippi State to pick up any yards on punt return. MSU averaged 19.3 yards on kickoff return.
