Former Alabama star and current NFL wide receiver Julio Jones was named on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list earlier this week. He made the list in the sports category.
The 28-year-old is one of the main investors in a $200 million real estate development in Atlanta called Ariston, according to Forbes. The project will include a 21-story hotel, more than 160,000 square feet of retail space and over 500 apartments.
Jones is fifth in the NFL with 715 yards this season and has one touchdown. In his seven years since leaving Alabama, Jones has 8,325 career yards, which is seventh among active leaders, and 41 touchdowns, which is 19th among active leaders.
In his three years at Alabama, Jones accounted for 15 receiving touchdowns and 2,653 yards, which is third all-time at Alabama. His 179 receptions is fourth all-time in program history. He also won a national championship in 2009.
Jones was also listed as the Forbes’ No. 43 world’s highest paid athlete in 2016 and ranked 12th in the NFL.
