This week was one of Alabama’s busiest recruiting weeks of the fall. Its 2018 grew from 11 commits to 14 and jumped into the top 10 classes in the country. All star ratings and rankings are based off the 247Sports composite:

Alabama landed four-star corners Saivion Smith and Nadab Joseph and three-star tight end Michael Parker in a two-day span. Joseph jumped on board first on Tuesday night. Parker joined the class early on Wednesday. Smith, a JUCO prospect who previously played at LSU, was the third member of the group to make his pledge.

Alabama’s offensive line coach Brent Key visited four-star offensive tackle Tommy Brown. Brown has been an Alabama commit since July 21.

Three-star all-purpose back Slade Bolden was visited by head coach Nick Saban. Bolden is going to sign on Dec. 20 and be an early enrollee.

Four-star cornerback Josh Jobe was visited by Saban. Jobe is currently a Miami commit and has been since June 14, 2015, but is one of Alabama’s top targets. The 6-1/180-pound prospect is the No. 95 overall player, No. 1 player from Connecticut and the No. 13 cornerback in the 2018 class.

Four-star wide receiver Joshua Moore decommitted from Nebraska. The 6-1/168-pound receiver is one of Alabama’s top targets still available. Moore is the No. 85 overall player, No. 9 player from Texas and the No. 17 wide receiver in the 2018 class. He has 53 offers and took his official visit on Oct. 21.

Five-star weak-side defensive end Eyabi Anoma took his official visit to Alabama. The 6-5/230-pound end is the No. 7 overall player, No. 2 weakside defensive end and the No. 1 player from Maryland. He has 16 total offers.

Three-star defensive tackle Billy Ferrell announced that he had received an offer from Alabama. Ferrell is the No. 9 player from Arkansas and the No. 79 defensive tackle in the 2018 class. He has eight other offers, including one from Arkansas and Louisville.

Five-star strong-side defensive end Brenton Cox announced that he decommitted from Ohio State. Cox is the No. 22 overall player, No. 2 strong-side defensive end and the No. 5 player from Georgia. He visited Alabama on Dec. 1.

Class of 2020 wide receiver Jayson Jones announced that he received an offer from Alabama. Jones has four other offers, including one from UAB. He stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 155 pounds.

Three-star defensive tackle Tymon Mitchell announced that he had received an offer from Alabama. The 6-3/287-pound tackle is the No. 27 player from Tennessee and the No. 35 defensive tackle in the 2019 class. He has six other offers.

Four-star wide receiver and one of Alabama’s biggest targets Jaylen Waddle was selected as the offensive player of the year in Texas by the Houston Touchdown Club. Waddle is the No. 50 player in the country, No. 6 player from Texas and the No. 7 wide receiver in the class. He was also visited by offensive coordinator Brian Daboll over the week.

Four-star defensive tackle Christian Barmore was visited by Saban and took his official visit to Alabama. Barmore is the No. 17 defensive tackle and the No. 6 player from Pennsylvania. The 6-5/290-pound tackle has 16 total offers, including one from Alabama that he received on Oct. 10.

Four-star weak-side defensive end Tyreke Smith showed his support for Alabama after it was selected as the No. 4 seed in the College Football Playoffs. Smith is the No. 59 overall player, No. 3 player from Ohio and the No. 4 weak-side defensive end in the country. He took his official visit to Alabama on Oct. 14.

Three-star defensive end Malik Langham received an offer from Alabama. He was visited by Alabama last week. Langham is the No. 27 player from Alabama and the No. 29 defensive end in the class. The 6-5.5/269-pound end has 29 offers. The Huntsville native plays for Lee High School.

Four-star dual-threat quarterback James Foster was visited by offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. Foster is the No. 9 player from Alabama and the No. 13 duel-threat quarterback in the 2018 class. The 6-3/210-pound recruit has been selected to play in the Polynesian Bowl and played in the Elite 11 Finals (Camp of 25 quarterbacks that took place in Los Angeles on June 2).

Four-star cornerback AJ Lytton officially visited Alabama on Friday. Lytton has been committed to Florida State since April. He is the No. 83 overall player, No. 3 player from Maryland and No. 8 corner in this class. The Upper Marlboro, Md. is 5-10/173 pounds.

Spain Park High School’s quarterback Braxton Barker received a preferred walk-on offer from Alabama. He is 5-11/175 pounds.
