NEW YORK — Five former University of Alabama football players are among those named to the Jan. 28 Pro Bowl, including Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, Giants safety Landon Collins, Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley and Saints running backs Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.
The Pittsburgh Steelers lead the NFL in most Pro Bowl players with eight, including Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, Ben Roethlisberger, Alejandro Villanueva, David DeCastro, Maurkice Pouncey, Chris Boswell and Ryan Shazier.
The Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints each placed six players in the game in balloting announced Tuesday.
AFC offensive starters include Patriots QB Tom Brady, and, for the NFC, Eagles QB Carson Wentz, who is injured.
