National Signing day is fast approaching, with prospects deciding where they will attend and play college on Wednesday. Alabama is working hard to ensure it puts together another strong class.

Here is the latest on Alabama’s recruiting prospects. All star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:

  • One of Alabama’s biggest targets left on the board in the 2018 class, wide receiver Jacob Copeland, got an in-home visit from Saban and the Alabama staff last week. The in-home visit came before his official visit to the Florida Gators. Copeland will decide between Alabama and Florida on Wednesday.

  • Alabama offered Moro Ojomo, an unsigned four-star prospects in the 2018 class, received an offer from Alabama last week. The defensive tackle from Katy, Texas is seen as likely Texas bound.

  • Another 2018 recruit, inside linebacker Jaylen Moody, received an offer from Alabama on Wednesday as well. The three-star recruit from Conway, South Carolina, is already seen as a favorite to sign with Alabama on signing day.

  • Reports from 247Sports and Rivals indicate that 2018 quarterback target Brock Purdy has eliminated Alabama from contention. He’ll decide between Iowa State and Texas A&M on signing day. Purdy didn’t seem to have a commitable offer from Alabama.
  • Wide receiver prospect Collins Woods picked up an offer from Alabama. The three-star recruit in the 2018 class is from Eight Miles, Alabama.

  • Nick Saban visited 2018 Alabama recruit Jerome Ford. The four-star running back prospect signed his letter on intent on Dec. 20.

  • Alabama made an offer to 2019 four-star recruit Jameson Williams. The wide receiver from Saint Louis is the 41st-ranked receiver in the class. He is seen as an Ohio State lean at this time.

  • Doubling down on four-star wide receivers from Saint Louis, Alabama also offered Marcus Washington. The 2019 prospect is the 51st-ranked prospect nationally and the second best receiver in the class.

  • Alabama offered 2019 tight end David Ugwoegbu last Wednesday. The three-star recruit is from Katy, Texas.

  • 2020 defensive tackle Cam’Ron Jackson received an offer from Alabama last Wednesday. Jackson holds one other offer, from LSU at this time.

  • Four-star wide receiver Trejan Bridges received an offer from Alabama on Friday. The 2019 prospect is currently an Oklahoma Sooner commit. Saban visited Bridges on Friday and extended the offer.

  • Saban continued his tour of Texas and offered 2019 four-star wide receiver prospect Theo Wease on Friday. Hailing from Allen, Texas, Wease is the 29th-ranked prospect in the class and the second-ranked prospect from Texas.

  • Nana Osafo-Mensah, a four-star recruit in the 2019 class, received an offer from Alabama. The outside linebacker is the 97th-ranked prospect in the class.

  • Three-star weak-side defensive end, Shemar Pearl, picked up an Alabama offer on Friday. The 2019 class prospect is the 95-ranked Texas prospect.

  • Alabama extended an offer to, EJ Ndoma-Ogar, the seventh-best offensive guard prospect in 2019. The four-star recruit is seen as an Oklahoma lean and attended its Junior Day on Jan. 21.t

  • Nakobe Dean, the 22nd-ranked prospect in the 2019 class, unofficially visited Alabama on Saturday. Dean is ranked as top inside linebacker in the class. He also unofficially visited Ole Miss this weekend.

  • Alabama offered four-star wide receiver Garrett Wilson on Saturday. The 91st-ranked prospect in the 2019 class is from Austin, Texas.

  • Alabama kept up its busy week of offering wide receivers with an offer to Dylan Wright, a four-star recruit in the 2019 class. Wright is ranked as the 34th best wide receiver in the class.

  • Ani Izuchukwu, a four-star 2019 recruit from Nashville, Tennessee, visited Alabama this weekend. Izuchukwu, a weak side defensive end, is currently seen as a favorite to sign with Alabama.

  • Alabama offered the top-ranked kicker in the 2019 class, Will Reichard. Reichard, from Hoover, is the 37th-ranked prospect in the class. Alabama already landed a graduate transfer kicker who can help for the 2018 season.
