Moody picked up an Alabama offer late in the recruiting process on Jan. 30 and visited Tuscaloosa last weekend. He received more attention late in the recruiting process from other major programs, after the early signing date in December.
The 6-2/225-pound linebacker is listed as the No. 23 player in South Carolina and the No. 49 inside linebacker. Alabama lost a commitment at linebacker on Tuesday night when Vernon Jackson reopened his recruitment.
Alabama previously got commitments from Patrick Surtain Jr. and Eddie Smith on Wednesday morning.
Both starting inside linebackers for the Crimson Tide graduated after the season, though Alabama does return Mack Wilson, Dylan Moses and Keith Holcombe at the position.
