A 6-3, 215-pound linebacker, Bratton unofficially visited Alabama on Feb. 24 during the team’s Junior Day, when he received an offer from Crimson Tide. He was also on campus this weekend.
Bratton attends Muscle Shoals High School and is the fifth-ranked prospect in the state, the fourth-ranked inside linebacker in the class and 131st overall, according to 247Sports’ rankings.
He was a second-team selection on the 2017 Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State team. He recorded 118 tackles, including four sacks for the Trojans.
He also plays third base, shortstop and pitches for Muscle Shoals’ baseball team.
With the addition of Bratton, Alabama sits as the No. 3 team in the country with its 2020 class, per the 247Sports Team Composite rankings. Four-star cornerback Javier Morton became Alabama’s first 2020 commit in December.
Alabama landed just one linebacker prospect in its 2018 class, three-star Jaylen Moody.
