Williams, who received an offer from Alabama in December, attended Junior Day in Tuscaloosa on Feb. 24.
The 6-foot-1, 177-pound Williams is from Daphne and ranks as the No. 4 player in Alabama in the 2019 class. He is the No. 10 corner nationally and the 101st-ranked player in the class, all according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He recorded 27 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery as a junior in 2017. This fall will be his senior season.
Williams is the third secondary prospect to commit to Alabama, joining four-star safety Brendan Gant and four-star athlete Brandon Turnage. He’s the seventh overall commit in the class. Alabama landed two commits in one day earlier this month.
Alabama signed five defensive backs in the 2018 recruiting class, and athlete Slade Bolden has been playing defensive back in spring practice.
The signing on Monday moved Alabama up to the No. 6 class in the country according to 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.
Running back T.J. Yeldon and linebacker Ryan Anderson are former Alabama players from Daphne High School.
