One day after landing a four-star cornerback, the Alabama Crimson Tide added a four-star linebacker, Shane Lee, on Tuesday evening. Lee choose Alabama over Penn State, Clemson, Ohio State, among others.

Lee announced his decision on Twitter.

Lee visited campus over the weekend before announcing his commitment.

The 6-foot, 240-pound Lee is from Baltimore, Md., and ranks as the top-ranked player in the state of Maryland in the 2019 class. He is the third-ranked inside linebacker nationally and the 61st-ranked player in the class, all according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Lee joins as King Mwikuta as the other linebacker currently in the 2019 class. Mwikuta is an outside linebacker that committed to the program in December.

St. Frances is the same program that produced the top-Alabama recruit in the 2018 class, weak-side defensive end Eyabi Anoma.

Lee is the eighth commitment of the 2019 class for Alabama. The Crimson Tide now sit with the No. 4 class class in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite team recruiting Rankings.

The commitment comes days before A-Day, when Alabama expects to have several top recruits in town for the annual spring game.
