Alabama’s big recruiting week continued on Sunday. Four-star offensive tackle Tanner Bowles committed to the Crimson Tide, following his visit A-Day visit.

Bowles chose Alabama over in-state Kentucky, Florida State, LSU, among others. He announced his decision on Instagram.

Bowles is the No. 28 offensive tackle and the No. 287 overall player in the class of 2019, according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound prospect landed an offer from Alabama on Feb. 12 and was on campus for the first time this weekend.

Bowles is the second offensive tackle in Alabama’s 2019 class. Five-star prospect Pierce Quick committed to the program a year ago and has played a huge role in recruiting.

Alabama also got a commitment from 2019 quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa on Saturday. Later in the day, Alabama offensive line coach Brent Key hinted at a potential commitment in a tweet yesterday.

Bowles’ pledge brings Alabama’s commitments to 10 for the 2019 recruiting cycle. The Crimson Tide class is now the No. 1 class in the nation for 2019, according to 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.

The commitment comes a day after A-Day, where Alabama hosted several top recruits for its annual spring game. He’s the fifth commitment this week, following Tagovailoa, linebacker Shane Lee, defensive back Christian Williams and 2020 wide receiver Dazalin Worsham.
