Alabama landed 2 more commitments for the upcoming 2019 class.

Here is the latest on Alabama’s recruiting prospects. All-star ratings and rankings come from the 247Sports composite:

  • The first big domino of the week, Daphne cornerback Christian Williams, committed to Alabama last Wednesday. Williams, a four-star prospect, is the 79th-ranked overall prospect in the 2019 class and No. 9 corner. He is the No. 5 player in the state and will visit Alabama on Monday.

  • Two days after Williams’ commitment, Alabama landed another highly touted prospect in Antonio Alfano. Alfano, a four-star strong side defensive end, picked Alabama over offers from Georgia and Notre Dame. He is the No. 58 prospect and the No. 5 strong side defensive end.

  • 2019 three-star athlete Kenny Logan tweeted he received an offer from Alabama on Monday. Logan holds 28 total offers, including ones from Louisville, Ole Miss and UCF. Logan announced he’ll visit Alabama on June 3.

  • Auburn commit and Hoover High School wide receiver George Pickens picked up an Alabama offer this week. Pickens, the 15th-ranked wide receiver and the 95th-ranked prospect in the 2019 class, has been committed to the Tigers since July 21, 2017. Pickens unofficially visited Auburn on April 28.

  • 2020 outside linebacker Jaylen Harrell tweeted he received an offer from Alabama on Tuesday. Harrell is No. 7 outside linebacker and the 113th overall prospect in the class, according to 247Sports rankings.

  • Tre Williams, the No. 2 defensive tackle in the 2019 class, received an offer from Alabama this past week. According to 247Sports, Williams is the No. 60 prospect in the 2020 class. He currently holds 24 offers, including one from Ohio State.

  • Alabama is among the final four schools four-star safety Jaylen McCollough is currently considering. McCollough, the fourth-ranked safety and the 100th-ranked overall prospect in the 2019 class, unofficially visited Alabama on April 21. Tennessee, South Carolina and Auburn also made the cut.

  • Four-star tight end Ethan Rae received an offer from Alabama this past week. Rae is the No. 7 tight end in the 2020 class. Jeff Banks visited and offered Rae on Tuesday. He currently holds 21 offers, though the crystal balls indicated UCLA as the early favorites.

  • Quarterback Tyler Buchner received an offer from Alabama this week, his eighth offer. Buchner is a part of the 2021 recruiting class.

  • Three-star tight end Luke Deal received an offer from the Crimson Tide on Wednesday. Deal, the 18th-ranked at his position in the 2019 class, unofficially visited Clemson on Friday. The Tigers are considered the favorites in his recruitment.

  • Running back Darvon Hubbard had a good day on Thursday, receiving offers from both Alabama and LSU. The 2020 prospect is ranked as the 10th best running back in his class, according to 247Sports.

  • Three-star prospect Michael Martinez tweeted he received an offer from Alabama on Thursday. Martinez, the No. 27 tight end for 2019 class, currently holds 12 offers. UCLA is viewed as the favorite for now.

Basketball:

  • Four-star small forward Juwan Gary named Alabama among his top five schools. Gary is the 14th-ranked small forward and the 54th-ranked overall prospect in the 2019 class. South Carolina is currently seen as the favorites to land the 6-6, 200-pound forward, who is from Columbia.
