The University of Alabama football program picked up its second commitment of the day and its 20th overall for the 2019 recruiting class on Friday night as Jahleel Billingsley, a four-star tight end from Chicago, chose the Crimson Tide over Florida and several other suitors.
Billingsley made the announcement in a video on his Twitter account.

Earlier in the day, Alabama had received a commitment from Canadian star John Metchie, a wide receiver who will play at DeMatha Catholic in Maryland this fall.
Billingsley, a 6-foot-5, 227-pound standout from Phillips Academy in Chicago, In the 2017 season, Billingsley had 31 receptions for 421 yards and scored seven touchdowns as Phillips Academy won the Illinois Class 5A state title.
